Mentre siamo tutti in attesa del programma di Venezia 71, ecco che il Festival Internazionale di Toronto svela alcuni titoli della kermesse Canadese.
Tra le anteprime mondiali il nuovo film di Antoine Fuqua, Equalizer, interpretato da Denzel Washington, Chloe Moretz e Bill Pullman, The Judge di David Dobkin, entrambi nella sezione Gala. Oltre a questi, Nightcrawler di Dan Gilroy, interpretato da Jake Gyllenhaal, Rene Russo, Riz Ahmed e Bill Paxton. Presente anche Susanne Bier con A Second Chance e il nuovo film di Noah Baumbach While We’re Young interpretato da Ben Stiller, Naomi Watts, Amanda Seyfried e Adam Driver.
La sezione Closing Night Film presenta Samba, di Olivier Nakache ed Eric Toledano con Charlotte Gainsbourg, Omar Sy e Tamar Rahim, ma anche l’ultimo film di Francois Ozon intitolato The New Girlfriend. Altre anteprima mondiale sono The Drop di Michael R.
